Thanks I'll take another pass at seeing if I can do that. Im pretty sure I didn't see that setting in the Phantom 2 assistant software however. It does sound handy though.

I did try loading up the Naza Assistant software, but no beuno. It doesn't see the phantom 2 at all, which sucks since there's more things I'll like access to in the more full featured software.

Other folks have been looking into swapping out the p2 naza with a standard one for doing things like unlocking the battery etc. It's pretty disappointing that DJI would do this, but their in the business to make money and try to keep things simple for noobs, but when you need to start going out side the box, its pretty frustrating. Why I can't even have a motor test function is beyond me :)

I agree Jonas. I think they have gone way to far to "protect" you. If I owned one, I'd be feeling like I didn't really get all that I paid for. That's a lot of money to end up with your hands tied. I'll bet there is someone out there that is working on a hack to load the regular NAZA firmware into that thing. I hope it's possible and someone finds the way.

From what I've seen the Phantom has a Naza-M Lite inside but a different interface. The stock Naza-M Lite's computer interface, with the USB, is the power interface with the LED. They call this the "VU" or versatile unit. UAV Products sells them for $15. Here is a link:

I wonder if you connected this instead of the Phantoms interface if you could gain access to the full settings?

Yep I did do the update, it however didn't automagically fix it though. I think that just turning the gains down really did the trick and it's been flying fine since.

Now I'm tuning my 3 axis gimbal and I just about got that worked out as well. Just did a test and it was very solid, I think I just have a little adjustment for the pitch to sort out since I can see in the FPV when its pitches to go forward or back.
