So the course is done. (For now). Will be add ons later on. But it is open for drift. I'd like to set up a team meet days like a Saturdays early afternoon. Let me know what time and days work best to get everyone together.
If you are not part of the clan, and would like to drift it out. Pm me and ill u a google map link to my house. Would like to get some comps going and will need at least 4 drifters to start. Plus will be having a video shoot. Get practicing and ill post a date in the events for when we shoot. Time to make drifting big in GP. Thanks for the help with course guys and hope to see many more.

For sure. The team can come by anytime u guys have my number. Just hit me when u want to stop by. For others outside the clan. I would like to have a designated day for people to try it out and maybe join with us. Would be nice to get a big enough group, set up tiers for comp. Maybe do a cash pot comp. $5 entry winner take all. We'll have hit markers set for judging angles.  I hit it every day. It is tight so get your practice on. Work on precision and control. No regulations . .  ... yet.

So i dont think the track is gonna make it through the season. Boards started to lift. Surface is fine. But water is getting underneath. I dont want to ruin the deck with mold so im gonna have to pull it up. Have plans for pouring concrete, with should be fine. We used to pour foundations in the snow. But have to sweet talk the land lord. Im gonna say its for a hot tub lol....

That's a bummer.  I thought the sealant would have prevented that.

The temp changing worped the wood which lifted the nails. Its not had and still driftable. But id like to make more all season proof prob spend the $$ for some treated plywood sheets and make it legit. What we used was almost like a wood cardboard. The stuff u find on the back of your dresser. Im huge into drifting and will make it perfect.. for my sake. But want somthing to share with drivers who wanna drift as much as i do. Might just have to move to so cal lol....

lol well i love drifting but i have been super bussy for the last month and half i've been working like 6 and 7 days a week im turning in like 120 hours in 2 weeks!!! But im hoping for x-mas the wife will get me my new difter ive been asking for..lol But i might be able to get us some really nice plywood that alrdy has a smooth surface but i think to make it 100% weather proof we need to think about a roof over the track of some kind! But now its time to start on my difter build so i can have it rdy by drifting time!!

Building a roof prob wont happen. But e will a better chance with some treated plywood. And just wood putty all the cracks. Where i have used the wood putty currently is holding up real nice. But where i didn't, is where the boards lifted. Also i know i was having some trouble with slickness. But really just need to cure all the way. Plus i got some comp drift tires( like jesses with the tread) and it slides on anything. Better than the pvc tires. I too want another roller id rather get a short course truck first. Could have but got the 1/18 one for now..lol...

Those are bubbles not shadows. And id say 70% of the track is fine.

Yeah, I think the drift track needs to be made of concrete or asphalt if it is going to be outside here in Oregon.
