I getting ready to start a build of my own.  Just waiting for a couple more parts.  Are you going to use underbody mounts?

Thanks guys.  I like the idea of not having body posts sticking up through the body.  I don't think on a high speed car that magnets would hold, possibly velcro would when it is new but not after it gets dirty.  On a drift car we never reach enough speed for wind to blow the body off.  I am thinking to try something with velcro now myself.  That link with the parts on eBay look pretty slick, thanks for that.

That Mark II body does look nice.  Is that the one you will make gull wing doors on?

I saw some negative stuff about them also but I couldn't find any other solutions.  We will see how well they work.  I would only use it on a drift car because they probably won't hold with any speed. I think the magnets they use are the rare earth ones.  I saw a vid of a guy that used them.  He had a crawler and picked it up by the body and almost couldn't get the body off the car.

Yeah i seen the same video, i was thinking of getting some sucction cups off an bow and arrow kit from the dollar tree, ill post a how to if it turns out ok.

I might put the gullwings on it. I was thinking of doing just crazy interior. Maybe pop the trunk and see some subs ;D. I was gonna do the gullwing on a two door body. Still want the civic hathc and make it look like a mini version of my mazda. Lol

I think these guys in the basement video are using the 1/16 scale drift cars thats the only way they could do that in that small of a space after seeing how big the 1/10 scale is

That Toyota Van body is really nice looking.  I had never seen a Toyota like that so i looked it up.  I guess they don't import that model here.  It is a 5th generation HiAce.
