Traxxas unveiled their 100mph super car, the Traxxas XO-1, and WE HAVE THE EXCLUSIVE FIRST DRIVE! As to expect, Radio Control Car Action is the first to get an inside look at this modern marvel.

Makes me wonder what kind of carnage would happen if it hit a curb at speed.
If it will do 100 mph in 5 seconds, you could reduce $1100 into a heap of scrap in a wink!

It looks like 1/8 scale. is it? Oh it's 1/7th scale.

In the fine print on the Traxxas site $1099.99 to be exact.
Wonder how they intend to limit the sales to the "expert"?

Ok it appears that you can only achieve the 100mph by unlocking the speed control by using an iPad or iPhone and the Traxxas App.
So, anyone can buy it. But if you really want to go fast you need to buy an iPhone too.

I think anybody with $1100 is automatically a expert just like anybody with $500,000 is a expert and can buy a Ferrari or other exotic car.  Except you can probably kill more people with a exotic car and you can probably only seriously injure someone with a 100 mph Traxxas RC car.
