Man, wish I wasn't so busy. I'm going to the coast for some sand dunes riding that weekend. Hopefully I will be free for one of the upcoming races there, that track looks really fun!.
Im gonna try to make it in the morning..... i have a wedding to go to in eagle point at 4..... haha. But i wanna throw down a few laps on my new losi scte! And the RC8.2E could use some more airtime on that wicked feature jump!
Well I'm sure we will be there but depending on the level of intoxication I may not be driving at that point
Only four people from here coming? No wonder the track idea fails? ??? Come on people all day saturday some of you should come out and play.
I'm there @ 6:30-ish . hope it's stil rockin. But that track is so sick, that even if i have to race solo i'm cool with it. not everyday you get to practice and test on that kind of track.
We will still be there for a bit, the lack of enthusiasm here shows me why a caliber track cannot be accomplished near grants pass since even when there is a place open and close enough for anyone to come out we see that the major pursuers wont even come out. FYI this is not aimed to be derogatory toward anyone. I hope to see many of you out there.
I'll be there. Maybe you guys can show this rookie how its done. It'll be my first time driving a track.
@ sincad, i understand your frustration with the lack of enthusiasm in our area for rc racing. it seems many of the past racers have moved or lost touch with the current racing scene. With out a consistent race spot, the buzz will just die down. Give it time, 9 days notice may not be enough time to generate the "buzz" that is needed to hold an event. Obviously, the facility is superior to what most new racers can comprehend. Again, if they don't know, they won't show. I know adam is talking about the event to his customers. However, i doubt the other shops in med/cp even have a clue, and lots of the potential participants in medford/surrounding are in the dark about even this forum. The Word of mouth communication is just not happening. I hope this event is a huge hit, and show the locals here that there are possibilities other than back yard bashing. I strongly suggest that any reader on this forum show up and support this, whether you have 50 rc cars or 50 helis, or your first truck, you will not be dissapointed. Come out and watch or play
Al's has the flyers for this years Pro series and also was told about this event coming up, the event we are holding this weekend is merely a playday of sorts and wanted to just get people out and see what's happening. There is only one group that will not distribute flyers for all our events. The next Pro series is also up and I will now post that again in the events sections and see who shows. I gave everyone almost two months notice on that one.
