GPS: We'd like to see some RC tanker interest from So OR residents so that we could coordinate our club's effort with them/him/her. Difficult to convince many members to make a long road trip likely involving an overnight stay without an indication of an opportunity to make new acquaintances and expand our hobby. We'll be a little farther south in August (24 & 25) when NORDPAC will be at the Albany airport for the Air and Arts Festival there.

Re: videos, search YouTube for NORDPAC. Both on-board and perimeter camera angles from multiple past battles through the past couple of years. In an introductory post to this forum I included pics of some of our tanks and a description of our club.

    Thanks Stu.

A small, remote activated smoke generator was placed in that structure. I think it also may have had a motion detection function.

Cool.  Your tanks make some nice sounds...even Benny Hill.

Were those amphibious vehicles privately owned?

The landing craft are owned by a member who scratch built and then RC'd them. We may have an actual water feature to float them next year at the Arlingon Air Show.
