I broke a Losi Comp Crawler front CVD, part number A3192 but it looks like I need to buy a whole set like this:

    http://www.amainhobbies.com/product.../n/Losi-Heavy-Duty-Front-CV-Drive-Shaft-Set-2

I really only need the bones, one actually but a pair would be OK.

The question I have is if there is a stronger part available? Recommendations?

I did not build this kit, so I am also not sure how the king pins are installed. They seem to be a press fit. Is that correct? I downloaded the manual and I do not see any clips or threads on the king pins.

Can you take a close up pic of the stub area? Most important part of identifying the version of the 4 different ones is the stub area. If it has a spring ring going around it holding the pin in it is a v3 axle and the toughest ones you can get off the open market. Let me know if it is a v3 and I can give you whatever parts you need to get it going again. I have parts for all the different types.

Thank you for the generous offer Highlandcrawler. My camera can't get very close, no macro, and I can't get the king pins out because I don't have a hex wrench small enough for the set screws that hold the king pins in place.

After some looking I found that the 3198 part is a direct replacement for the 3192 and is available at RPP:

Now to find a tiny hex wrench.
