GPS, I really liked your suggestion of a live feed during the swap meet. What's involved? beyond a webcam, PC and internet?
There are a lot of ways to do live streaming, but the easiest and cheapest (read: free) would be to use the Google+ "Hangout" feature, especially since you are on Google+ already. Go to your Google+ account and look at the right hand side to "Start a Hangout" for more information. Another way would be to setup a webcam feed but for more than a couple viewers I doubt that the clubhouse would have enough bandwidth. There are also services that handle the live video and audio feed for you, but you will have to pay for it.

Most likely not. But you would have to gaze upon my ugly mug. LOL I'm thinking more in line of a out bound webcam feed with IM or PM exchanges. Our clubhouse does not have the bandwidth to support video to and from multiple users. But, don't let that keep you from cleaning up your act some. LOL
That's why I suggested Google+ hangouts. You'll have the bandwidth for that and can just send the live feed instead of using it as a chat room, however the others could chat if they'd like.
OK, that sounds like the solution. I got concerned by reading the bandwidth requirements and limitations of 10 users by reading the "hangout" info. I'll setup my laptop/webcam in the clubhouse and give Google Hangouts a test run.
{LMAO-ROTFL} Well I CAN DO a haircut as I'm in dire NEED of one those, I'll be going for an estimate soon As for the shave I'll just keep writing the cheques on that one {LOL} Oh-what-a-relief-it-is teh CAM being outbound as I'm quite camera shy ... ... The truth you ask, OK OK fine I've got an "ugly mug" too! Seriously though it's a great idea as I would love to see given I'm limited by distance to a virtual visitation of such a fine gathering of like minds ... ... I'd luv to be able to say I was there or even to make a virtual bid or two
