Thanks for taking the time to do that for us.  Lots of interesting stuff for us to consider.  I can see it's going to take a while to catch up with you.  :)

seems like I also have everything that ill need or maybe want for now but Im still having a hard time with the video. Not sure if its the freq (900mhz) or if its the freq in that area or what. Ill see videos of GPS or anyone else that is doing good and just sit there wondering what im doing wrong.

GPS isn't flying FPV. He is using his Contour HD camera and recording onboard so no video Tx/Rx to deal with - just direct recording. He also has the advantage of a fully stabilized, hovering platform versus a bumpy ride in an airplane.
I am using a cheap 5.8GHz setup and getting good results, but I stay well within LOS (haven't left my back pasture) as my old eyes can't see too far anymore. I will be changing to 1.2/1.3 when I get my Reaper completed (if ever!), just started with the cheapies to get my feet wet ;)
Your setup looks like all the right stuff, have you tried switching to any other frequencies? I presume your video Tx/Rx have multiple channels available?

No i havent tried any other freq on my TX due to 910 being the only legal one on my TX for the US

N485TG - Where are you located in Medford?  Do you ever fly near Grants Pass?

It's not 910 Mhz that is giving you trouble, it is something else. Antennas, or possibly a bad Tx/Rx. Here is my longest FPV flight (true FPV), although not that far, it was not line of sight, had trees blocking me. Went out 1,200 feet. This was with the cheap, terrible stock antennas that come with the radio gear. The video was recorded on the ground and this is what I flew by. Since then I crashed, broke an antenna an bought a "Better" antenna, can't get it to work even half as good, will go back to the $5.00 cheapo just to see if it will work or not....

Range Video has 800Mw 900 Mhz Tx now, I am giving one of these a try later this summer....

but isnt it true that things will interfere with 900-2.4 but thing wont really interfere with 5.8

That's actually kinda backwards. 5.8 will not go through trees, walls, etc. It is a very short wavelength and thus easily susceptible to interference. 900MHz is theoretically the best in what is currently available, although selection is slim. 1.2 has the most variety of products available while still delivering excellent performance. The Lawmate 1.2 Tx/Rx setup is arguably the best and most widely used system out there. Mine is 5.8 and I get lines and dropouts every time I go around the trees in my yard :(
Your 900MHz setup should be fine - maybe try some better antennas? Pelagic Pilot really knows this area better than me, maybe he could shed some more light?

Well I know that to be true for trees and so on but as far as RF junk from other things onboard the plane or coming from other things in the area doe 5.8 do better as far as that goes? I have thought about 1.2 as it seems like most people enjoy using it but I wasnt wanting to give 900 up yet if it was just a simple thing that I over looked.

I havent watched your video intill now and looks like your getting as good of a video as i was. I would like to go farther than say a tenth of a mile. I would like to be able to fly out and explore the country side or fly along the coast line with out worrying about my video going out.  Is there a time we could meet up and you look over what I have and see if theres something I over looked or see if theres anything I can change to make the video go farther. GPS was saying that you were good with this kind of stuff. At least I think he said it was you that was good with radio stuff. Maybe it was Tiger..... Any ways wouldnt mind seeing your setup as I do have 3 - 450 heli frames just sitting around in a box with no electronics  in them. Wouldnt mind setting up a FPC 450 heli setup. I would like to stay on 910 if I can due to already having everything I need. But would be open to changing freq if its the freq or maybe I just need to change one of the wires over a little bit so its not getting RF noise just not sure at this point.

My issue in the video was from too strong of video signal, you can see it improve as I fly further away. Too much multipatch from linear antennas when flying close and my ground station is near metal (you will always be near metal). Yeah we can meet up sometime.

    UPDATE:

Did some testing in the Field with Tyson and his 910 TX could go WAY out there with out any video loss where my TX could be anywhere from almost touching to farther out, didn't matter video would still cut out. Tried different Antennas as well as testing it with ONLY the camera and battery. Still video loss. Yesterday ripped everything out of the plane and tried everything again still same issues. Went to only the TX and Battery and still getting lines and interference in the video. Did notice when moving the Antenna around you would get interference looking lines, so I took the TX out of the case and then tried moving the TX again nothing. Might should do more testing but screw it!!! Went to ReadyMadeRC last night and ordered a new TX so hope this one works better when it comes.

Do have the cables to try your GoPro live feed out? Would be interested to see the difference in quality between the two cameras. Those lines were very odd, but it is possible that it came from your ESC. I noticed your ferrite was up near the camera, I wonder if it should be back by the tx instead?
