Is this the new DJI helicopter system that is like the Naza? http://www.aerialtechnology.com/shop/wookong-h-lite/
I would have to think so, they do mention "WooKong Lite version without GPS allows easy and affordable entry into FBL" As you know "FLB" means "Flybarless" but NOT to be confused w/ FLB, Fly Like A Bird (teh song) ... Assuming your not rhe'torically speaking?
No, WKH has been around forever, cool system....... BUT, NO RTH It just hovers in on spot upon loss of signal, then shuts off and crashes, the GPS hold only works from 0'-150' above the takeoff spot, at 151' above AGL it will just drift around with the winds in a hover, but the self leveling and attitude mode is like the NAZA. But the new system I am looking for will be called "NAZA-H" H for helicopter, I HOPE it has RTH and does not cost $$$$$$$$, otherwise what is the point when WKH already is available?
ACE ONE is the earliest that you can get RTH for a traditional helicopter, $3500.00 But the NAZA can RTH for $600.00? Come on DJI!!!
I think DJI is busy with their "Ruling" radio. At that show when they announced the S800 hexacopter they said it would be three months until it is on the market and it's been like five months now. Plus they added the Ruling tab to their Products menu on their website recently but it is not linked. I think we will hear an announcement very soon now. I bet the Naza H will come soon thereafter.
