So I got my DX8 all programmed. This quad actually uses Acro (plane) programming which I thought was interesting, but maybe all quads do? Anyway, nothing fancy in the way of mixes or anything, in fact I didn't even setup my D/R & Expo. Charged the battery which litterally took only a matter of minutes and went outside... This thing flies GREAT!!!! SUPER easy to get the hang of and I've already done pirrouettes and oval circuits. Got about 12 minutes flight time with the stock 500mah battery (only have the one so far - I'll go online and order some 600mah bulk batteries a little later this week). A real joy to fly something so well put together and setup from the manufacturer! Now to order a mini dice cam from Hobbypartz.com More to come ;D ;D ;D
This thing is GREAT!!!!! Flew it around at Redwood quite a bit today. Easy to handle and control. Did one complete loop and four or five failed ones This thing is SOOOOOO tough! No damage after several more attempts to do a loop each ending in various levels of crashing This thing actually landed on its feet most of the time and after letting the AS3X gyros settle back in, took right back to the air with no issues. So to recap... super tough, super easy to fly, TONS of fun ;D ;D ;D
