    I also ordered a new plane Friday evening and hope to have it in hand by next weekend. It's a Dynam P-51D Mustang with a 47" wingspan that runs off a 3s 2200mah lipo. Link is below.

    Thanks for sharing the photos GC. The new P51 is a pretty sweet looking plane.
    That is also a fine looking field you guys have down there and blessed with sunshine too.

    Now I have to wonder, your fleet must be getting pretty big. Unless you have a pretty large home, you I'll bet you are starting to run short of hanger space.  ;D

    Have you had time to work on the Super Chipmunk rebuild?

    Haha, no shortage of space! Its just my wife and I in our 5br, 3ba house with a 4-car garage - no cars in the garage ;)
    The Super Chipmonk is ready for covering. I picked up a roll of pearl white Friday and will get that done sometime this next week. I already have the new electronics waiting. I'm hoping to have her, and the Reaper ready for our club's first Fun-Fly of the year on March 18th.

    Oh, and yes, it is a really great field! We are very fortunate to have such a fine facility and a great relationship with our county commissioners.

    GC Luv your P38 lightning ... Don't see them much in the documentaries, eh

    Overall one sweet looking fleet

    and while going for the trifecta, good looking photo's ... The MIST gives the "mountainous" just that little bit that SET em apart from just the ordinary ...

    My new Blade MQX bought locally here in GP at Sleadd's,  and my new Dynam P-51D (with retracts and flaps!) from Nitroplanes.com

    Build thread for the P-51 to come shortly. As well as setup and impressions for the MQX. 8)

    There's a public area and dock on the south-west end of the lake. It is adjacent to the Heron Loop camping area. This is where we fly from. Google Map link below ;)

    Came home with 9 new airplanes from the Swap & Shop - and didn't have to sleep in the garage :-X Heading out to Redwood today (rain or shine) to test the first two I got put together: Eflite P-51 and P-47. Will get pics later, actually probably tomorrow as I'll try to get a full fleet pic as well as individual pics ;) Chris (CSager) also walked out the door with quite a few new toys :) Can't wait to see how these do...

    I've seen videos of the Eflite war planes. They look pretty cool and seem to fly very well too.
