    Hi everyone,

    Just joined the site. I have been researching cars because my stepson has one and wants me to get one so we can have a hobby together. I am looking forward to purchasing one and I am sure will have some questions soon. My name is Mike and I live in BFE so no hobby shops close by unless I drive a hundred miles. I look forward to reading posts from all the experienced rc enthusiasts on here :)

    Hi Mike - Welcome to the forums!

    If this is your first RC you are in for a addictive treat. There is a lot of fun to be had and RC models are a great hobby the entire family can enjoy.

    I saw you posted a couple other posts so I will keep this short and respond to those there. Again welcome, and if I can ever answer any questions for you just ask.
